Description
The Broan 511 Room-to-Room Ventilation Fan is a purpose-built utility fan engineered for transferring air between rooms—such as distributing cool air from an air-conditioned space, or warmer air from a heated area—without penetrating an exterior wall. With an 8-inch fan blade, the 511 delivers up to 180 CFM airflow and is rated at 3.5 sones for quiet operation.
Housing is designed for easy installation between interior walls with thickness from 3″ to 5½″. The steel cabinet features an epoxy-bonded finish and includes a white polymeric grille (paintable for aesthetic matching). The motor is permanently lubricated, thermally protected, and designed for long-term reliability.
Ideal for HVAC projects, multi-family units, game rooms, rec rooms, or any space needing air balancing, the Broan 511 effectively moves conditioned air from one interior space to another, helping reduce temperature stratification and improving comfort.
