Description
The DBX1017FR6 is a 24-gauge powder-coated metal dryer vent box designed to fit into 2x6 framed walls. Measuring 17 inches tall, 10 inches wide, and 4.25 inches deep, this recessed box allows for a flush dryer installation, saving space and reducing the risk of vent hose kinks.
Engineered to meet a 1-hour fire rating for through-penetration systems, the DBX1017FR6 complies with IRC and IMC codes, including the 2015 IMC Section 504.8.5, which requires length identification labeling. This label is conveniently included inside the box, eliminating the need for additional purchases.
The raised flange design requires no trim ring, simplifying installation and reducing labor costs. Suitable for both wood and metal stud construction, the DBX1017FR6 is ideal for single and multi-family residential applications.
